Chronology and Introduction

Logitravel Group is only 19 years old, but those 19 years have been very exciting with rapid expansion and growth. We are extremely proud of the journey we have been on, our roots but also where we are heading and below are some of the main highlights;

Today

The group has transformed into a Global Tourism Group with average +57% annual growth since we started in 2004.

Today the original founders of Toolfactory still own 100% of the shares of the company, and are still working in the company.

2019

A further 11 new hotels added to Smyhotels, located in Spain, Italy, Greece and Tunisia.

2018

Strategic decision to acquire 2 Destination Management Companies to improve product range and increase range of destination services.

Acquisition of the first hotel property and management of another hotel to provide the group with guaranteed rooms in key destinations.

2014

Logitravel Group turnover exceeds 500 milion euros.

Smyrooms, the Group’s global bedbank, is launched.

2007

Logitravel Online Travel Agency expansion begins with its first new market abroad in Portugal.

First cruise award as best online travel agency. To date Logitravel OTA has received more than 100 awards from cruise lines like Costa Cruises, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line or Royal Caribbean.

2004

Logitravel Online Travel Agency was launched. It is the most consumer recognised brand for the group, which is now the largest OTA in many key markets such as Spain, Italy, Portugal and France.

2000

Traveltool, the Logitravel Group’s travel agency brand, starts to operate.

2000

Toolfactory, which today is the holding company for Logitravel Group, was founded as a specialist travel IT company.
