As a result of the activation of the State of Alarm in Spain, Italy and other countries for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 virus, and following the public health recommendations, Logitravel Group has been forced to close its offices and make available to all the workforce the option of working from home.
Logitravel Group has started the new year on the right foot, receiving acknowledge from its work in 2019. Specifically we have been awarded by the Promoción Turística de Cancún, the Agencia de Promoción Turística de Centroamérica (CATA) and the cruise company Norwegian Cruise Line. We have also been finalist for the Mad Video Competition
Logitravel Group today held a half day conference for all members of staff, which kicked off with a thank you to everyone for their contribution from the Chairman of the Group Manny Fontenla- Novoa. Followed by a presentation and celebration of the 2019 results.
Logitravel Group has once again been awarded Norwegian Cruise Line’s ‘More Than A Million Award’ for our outstanding performance producing an annually increasingly turnover. The award ceremony was held in Marrakech during a 3 day event among the 2nd and the 4th December.
Joan Balaguer, Logitravel OTA CEO, has participated in the VI Ibiza Tourism Forum under the title of ‘New strategies for the new scene’. Joan has participated in a round table about ‘future strategies to face the new challenges’. In the event new opportunities have been analysed and cleared up the possible threats affecting the most important economic sector in the Balearic Islands.
Iñaki Fuentes, Logitravel Group CIO, has given the talk ‘A thrust to our project’ organised by EmprendeRioja. It is a previous event for the ‘Entrepreneur Ecosystem Day’ in La Rioja.
